Announces “Mindful Moments”

Pawtucket Arts Festival Programs

 

Pawtucket (RI) – As mindfulness become a greater part of heath care, The Samaritans of Rhode Island will host two “mindfulness” and art awareness programs at its Art Gallery and Community Education Center, 67 Park Place in Pawtucket, for the 2025 Pawtucket Arts Festival. The current exhibit of serene seascapes, vivid landscapes, delicate brushstrokes, soothing imagery, and thoughtful design elements reflect The Samaritans deep commitment to compassion and connection.

Tuesday September 2nd

6:00 pm. to 7:00 pm. -

Mindful Moments - An Introduction to Art and Mindfulness - Discussion leader John LaCross. Among John’s many credentials, he is a Usui Reiki Master and Board Member of The Samaritans of RI.

Meet the Artists - Meet the Pawtucket-based creative team behind our exhibit and the agency’s new website.

Featured artists are Christy Christopoulos, Photographer and fine artist Pablo Rodriguez-Masjoan. Christy has worked with Fortune 500 companies and has also earned the prestigious Kodak Gallery and Fuji Masterpiece awards. Pablo Rodriguez-Masjoan is U.S.-born, Argentina-raised, painter, marketer, web designer, strategist, and chef. He also holds a graphic design degree from the University of Cordoba.

 

The Forgot-Me-Not Gallery will be open for the Pawtucket Arts Festival week from September 2nd to September 5th from 11 AM to 5 PM; 67 Park Place, Pawtucket RI 02860 Group tour information is available by appointment.

After four years of creative collaboration, our artists have profoundly shaped The Samaritans of Rhode Island's new website and logo-serene seascapes, vivid landscapes, delicate brushstrokes, soothing imagery, and thoughtful design elements-reflecting our board and volunteers' deep commitment to compassion and connection.


Christy Christopoulos Photographer based in Pawtucket, Christy has worked with Fortune 500 companies and has also earned the prestigious Kodak Gallery and Fuji Masterpiece awards.


Pablo Rodriguez-Masjoan U.S.-born, Argentina-raised, Pablo is a painter, marketer, web designer, strategist, and chef. He also holds a graphic design degree from the University of Cordoba.


Donald W. King Creative Director of King Saint Germain, Donald transforms communities through art, culture, and creative initiatives. He is founding Artistic Director of The Providence Black Repertory Company and Providence Sound Session.


Joanne LaCroix Hemerlein Graphic Designer and Art Director for national and international non-profits and a former Rhode Islander, Joanne is based in Athens, GA.
